Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety
In this explorative 2-hour Mindfulness for Anxiety Workshop, we’ll learn about stress and anxiety, how it affects the mind, and how we can introduce mindfulness meditation to cultivate a little more balance throughout the day. Expect anxiety-healing mindfulness meditation, breath awareness meditation, walking meditation, soothing humming techniques, then drop even deeper into a brain-wave state with guided Yoga Nidra (elusive yogic sleep). This workshop provides an introduction to mindfulness and meditation and aims to make it digestible to leave you feeling fully restored and inspired. No yoga poses in this workshop — it’s all about accessible tools when we can’t make it to the mat. All levels welcome.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK

WHAT TO EXPECT
+ Theory — Learn about the biological, social and psychological aspects of stress and anxiety. We’ll talk about rewiring the brain and neuroplasticity for self-regulation and self-transformation. All while sipping on your warm herbal tea, nibbling on delicious treats and trying soothing essential oils.
+ Meditation— Learn simple and effective mindfulness tools in a guided setting to practice when you can’t make it to the yoga mat. Expect anxiety-healing mindfulness meditation, breath awareness meditation, walking meditation, soothing humming techniques, then drop even deeper into a brain-wave state with guided Yoga Nidra.
+ Connection — You are never alone. No matter how isolated stress and anxiety can make us feel sometimes. In this workshop, you’ll be reminded of this and have the opportunity to connect and share with others moving through similar experiences. Expect a safe, non-judgemental, supportive space.
+ Awareness — Getting to know and making friends with your stress and anxiety makes it eminently more manageable. Expect to cultivate a deeper awareness of and around your personal anxiety triggers, symptoms, remedies and resources with reflection and journaling.
