Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety

Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety

In this explorative 2-hour Mindfulness for Anxiety Workshop, we’ll learn about stress and anxiety, how it affects the mind, and how we can introduce mindfulness meditation to cultivate a little more balance throughout the day. Expect anxiety-healing mindfulness meditation, breath awareness meditation, walking meditation, soothing humming techniques, then drop even deeper into a brain-wave state with guided Yoga Nidra (elusive yogic sleep). This workshop provides an introduction to mindfulness and meditation and aims to make it digestible to leave you feeling fully restored and inspired. No yoga poses in this workshop — it’s all about accessible tools when we can’t make it to the mat. All levels welcome.

We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment as this workshop often sells out and is only run once every 12 months in each location. If you book early you can also take advantage of the early bird promotion as there are no other discounts or promotions on offer.

+ Theory — Learn about the biological, social and psychological aspects of stress and anxiety. We’ll talk about rewiring the brain and neuroplasticity for self-regulation and self-transformation. All while sipping on your warm herbal tea, nibbling on delicious treats and trying soothing essential oils.

+ Meditation— Learn simple and effective mindfulness tools in a guided setting to practice when you can’t make it to the yoga mat. Expect anxiety-healing mindfulness meditation, breath awareness meditation, walking meditation, soothing humming techniques, then drop even deeper into a brain-wave state with guided Yoga Nidra.

+ Connection — You are never alone. No matter how isolated stress and anxiety can make us feel sometimes. In this workshop, you’ll be reminded of this and have the opportunity to connect and share with others moving through similar experiences. Expect a safe, non-judgemental, supportive space.

+ Awareness — Getting to know and making friends with your stress and anxiety makes it eminently more manageable. Expect to cultivate a deeper awareness of and around your personal anxiety triggers, symptoms, remedies and resources with reflection and journaling.

“The work Emma Ceolin is doing for those choosing to learn more about managing their anxiety through the practice of yoga is extraordinary. There is an essence of grounding down within her class. The breathing techniques provided me with stability and gave me permission to just sit and be with the ebb and flow of anxiety. I walked away from her class feeling uplifted, empowered and free. Thank you beautiful for all that you are and for the work you are doing.” — Indiana Holley

“I would absolutely recommend anyone to go to Emma’s self-love or anxiety workshops – I’ve done both and have come away feeling understood, accepted and cared for. Emma has such a lovely way of sharing her knowledge on both subjects and her honesty is refreshing but also made me feel thankful I’m not the only one who goes through these feelings/thoughts! Thank you Emma, you inspire me, beautiful girl.” — Kerri Pietsch

“I went to one of Emma’s Yoga for anxiety workshops a few weeks ago, and it was the most incredible experience! I loved it so so much! Right from when you arrived, Emma’s warmth and welcoming nature helped you feel comfortable and calm! The workshop was incredible, and I walked away feeling like I had learnt so much, and learnt a lot about how I could use yoga for anxiety. I left feeling so calm and relaxed, and excited to get stuck into my own practice. I LOVED my workshop, and highly recommend!!” — Laura Carlson
