Foundations II: Deepen Your Yoga Practice with Confidence.

  • Prana House Level 1, 885 High Street Thornbury, Victoria, 3071 Australia (map)

This 8‑week course builds on Foundation I to expand strength, stability and inner focus while continuing to introduce yogic philosophy and simple spiritual practices.

Who is it for?

Foundation II is designed for students who have completed Foundation I or who already have an equivalent beginner’s grounding. Over eight weeks you’ll move into longer, more integrated asana sequences and breath‑initiated movement, refine subtle body alignment and cultivate sustained, mindful attention. The course introduces core pranayama, foundational bandha and mudras, and sound and subtle practices that prepare the mind for focused concentration and meditation.

What to expect?

  • 8 x 90 minute weekly sessions combining asana, breathwork and meditation.

  • Small classes and personalised guidance so you can refine technique and progress safely.

  • Practical tools for daily life — breath techniques, short rituals and reflective practices to reduce stress, sharpen focus and cultivate open‑hearted resilience.

  • Outcomes: increased strength and mobility, steadier breath and attention, and a deeper, sustainable practice that supports life off the mat.

Practical benefits:

  • Improved posture and core strength through alignment‑focused sequencing.

  • Greater joint mobility and flexibility from longer holds and mindful transitions.

  • Safe, sustainable progress with personalised guidance that reduces injury risk and builds confidence to move into intermediate classes

  • Steadier breath and energy regulation via core pranayama and bandha.

  • Enhanced focus and emotional resilience from guided meditations and mantra.

  • Reduced stress and clearer breathing patterns through pranayama and relaxation.
