This 8‑week course explores alignment‑based asana, breathwork (pranayama), relaxation and simple meditation practices while introducing core yogic philosophy and spiritual practices to support everyday life.
Who is it for?
Foundations I is perfect for complete beginners, people returning to yoga, or anyone who seeks a solid, safe foundation before joining more advanced yoga courses and classes. No prior experience is required and all equipment is provided; just wear comfortable clothing and bring an open mind.
What to expect?
8 x 90 minute weekly sessions that combine physical practice (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) guided relaxation and introductory meditation techniques interwoven with yogic philosophy.
Small class size for personalised guidance and adjustments, so you’ll get the support you need as you progress.
Clear instruction with attention to physical and energetic alignment and safe sequencing so you can experience the practices at your own pace.
Use of props (blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets) to support postural alignment and to protect joints while you learn correct form.
Practical benefits:
Improved postural awareness, core strength and joint mobility.
Reduced stress and clearer breathing patterns through pranayama and relaxation.
Greater mental focus and emotional resilience from meditation and ethical practice.
A sustainable foundation for the Foundations II course or casual yoga classes.
