Teaching Style

My classes range from a strong dynamic vinyasa flow to a traditional Hatha & Tantric class to a restorative yin flow. I also love to teach a Tridosha class where the student is able to bring balance to the Doshas - Vata Kappa and Pitta.

Bringing a style to my class where you can be strong in the mind and body to then allow connection to the spirit (ATMA)

Why do you practice yoga?

I have been practicing yoga and Tantra for 10years. Yoga brings balance to my life and has supported me through some difficult times. I find by having a daily practice I am able to have balance and overall connection to the self which not only assists me in my life but those around me especially my loved ones.

I have a great passion for traditional tantra and yogic philosophy as in tantra we truly believe we are all connected to each other and the cosmos.

Why do you teach?

Yoga is an important practice, it is a science where we can bring balance to the mind body and spirit. Being a social worker for ten years gave me the ability to support and empower those in need.  Now I am wanting to support people to dive further to their core self through yoga. 

In yoga we can break any blockages one may have in their health system (mind body and spirit) to allow the prana (life force) to flow therefore one can move freely in this world and live life in bliss.

Favourite Asana?

Chakrasana- I feel in absolute bliss in this Asana
