About the class: A general class that welcomes all levels. Classes maintain a focus of alignment and postural awareness, whilst students are guided by demonstration and instruction leading to a deeper awareness of breath, body and consciousness. The class works through levels from floor work of hip and shoulder openings, to sun salutes, standing poses and back down for forward bends, twists and inversions. Students are led through linked sequences of asana/postures in a vinyasa style and may receive gentle hands on adjustment aimed at integrating the learning in a holistic manner that communicates on the mental, physical and spiritual planes. The class is completed by svasana/relaxation, which is often a guided process working through the chakra centers or creative visualization meditation.
