Anahata
Anahata has practiced yoga for 17 years. She sees yoga as a moving, transformative practice that also points to the underlying stillness that is always present. Yoga, chanting and meditation practice bring us back, again and again, to the Silence that we already are. Resting in this Silence naturally evokes a sense of aliveness, ease, centredness and joy.
By exploring dynamic and subtle practices of embodiment, we create space for the heart to open, the mind to be still and for the spirit to breathe. Anahata draws on a variety of traditions including hatha yoga, bhakti yoga, karma yoga and advaita vedanta. Her approach includes yoga flowing sequences, pranayama, chanting and meditation. An integrated yoga practice nourishes our inner life and this can have a profoundly uplifting effect on our lives.
