Transpersonal Psychotherapy in Practice
Transpersonal Psychotherapy views all psychological processes against a backdrop of spiritual unfolding. The practice then nurtures a relationship to the spiritual dimension while dialoguing with and integrating psychological distress.

The following techniques are integrated into my practice;

practitioner :  Terry Larson
Initially trained as an Anthropologist, Terry first encountered traditional shamanic healers in remote parts of Western Australia.  Experiencing his own calling he commenced training in shamanism while completing formal training in counselling and psychotherapy. He has Diploma’s in Transpersonal Counselling, Art Therapy and a Masters in Shamanic Practice. He has participated in several men’s groups, men’s initiations, several vision quests, is a sweat lodge facilitator and a senior ceremonial leader in the Spirit of the Earth Medicine Society. He also teaches the practice components of the Diploma of Shamanic Practice with the Ikon and Phoenix Institutes.

Terry has over ten years experience in the psychological counselling profession in community mental health, psychiatry and prison counselling services. He has been operating in private practice as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist for the past three years. In private practice he has combined his experience in psychological counselling and experience in the shamanic and transpersonal fields. He is a Registered Mental Health Practitioner and Medicare Rebates May Apply.


Fees:                  
Transpersonal Psychotherapy 
Sessions are 75-minutes and cost: $120 or $100 (student/concession).
*Medicare Rebates of $70 may apply.

Shamanic Healing with Counselling Consultation will be a 2hr session plus a 50-minute follow-up with a fee of:
$180 or $150 (student/concession).
                    
Shamanic Practice group
Sessions are 2-hours and cost:
$30 or $25. (Dates TBA)

Sweat Lodge
Attendance is $30 or $25 (student/concession).
Ceremony and light meal provided (dates TBA).

* Fees for other services are by personal arrangement.

Introductory Offer: 
During August Terry will offer a free 20 minute session to Prana House Yoga students or to clients of other alternative practitioners practicing at Prana House. 

In this introductory session you’ll learn more about Transpersonal Psychotherapy and how this modality would be of benefit. You’ll also get to meet Terry!
