Scott Smedley
Scott Smedley, the Iyengar Yoga teacher at Prana House, has been a local of the Thornbury area for many years.  A father of two small children, Scott discovered first hand how beneficial regular yoga practice could be in aiding the recovery from a serious back injury.  Since, Scott has been practicing Iyengar yoga regularly for over 9 years.  With the use of props, Iyengar Yoga in particular, makes yoga accessible to everyone of all ages, levels of strength and flexibility and is particularly good for those that may be recovering from an injury.

 

 Scott is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor, having completed teacher training at Clifton Hill Yoga studio with Marina Jung and Frank Jesse in 2009.  He approaches his own practice with courage, strength and compassion.  As a committed yoga teacher Scott brings a sense of calm to his classes whilst building a strong foundation for self-development in his students.
